Moving, and more if it’s international, can become a little bit annoying and especially when it comes to pack up everything in boxes. From PackLink they would like to help you with a series of recommendations that will make any moving easier:

Take the necessary

Moving is always a good time to get rid of useless things. Choose what you will take with you and organize it in boxes, trying to keep in each box the same or similar features. For example, use a box for the things of the bathroom, another one for clothes, and one for books… it will facilitate the future unpacked.

Packaging

Get free cardboard boxes in any establishment as a library, and the necessary accessories for packing as the bubble paper (for fragile items), adhesive tape and a permanent marker to identify the content of each box.

It is important that the content of the boxes are well protected, cushioning the bumps that may occur during the transit. If you have any questions about it, please read their recommendations of packing to protect the item correctly during the transportation.

Which furniture should we take?

If your case is to take your furniture with you, make sure you have the necessary tools to remove them. The vehicle used for moving, can be a good strategy to first place the furniture and finally the boxes, it will take less space and the furniture will be more protected. For those that you can’t take, use their Courier service, and send it with the confidence of the best Transportation Companies and with irresistible prices! Compare and choose the option that best suits your service and economy for any type of domestic and international shipping. And now, to save a little bit more you can benefit from a discount of 5% using the following code: código “TAKEITALL” on your first shipment through our shipping comparator PackLink (discount available until October 31st).

We hope that with the PackLink tips you can prepare your international move much better. We wish you good luck in your Erasmus experience! It will always be beneficial and even pursue studies  ;-)

Thank you for the advice, I followed it through and my international travelling was way smoother :) Though I used a different packaging company, namely this one.
