Our agenda

Arrive in Hanoi 6:20 AM

One of our friend lost her luagge where all her stuff as well as equipment for filming are in. We got compensation for the inconvenience - 600,000VND.

One day later, we finally could manage it to take it from the transporter on the way he went to other province from the airport.

Socializing/relaxing Breakfast at Highlands coffee nearby Truc Bach Lake 9.00 AM

Before emerging into Vietnamese food world, we had a cool breakfast in Highlands coffee.

The rain stopped for us to take a nice walk to Tran Quoc Pagoda. On the way of walking we found a Catfish lieing down on the road.

Tran quoc pagoda  10:00 AM

The oldest pagoda opened up a journey with Vietnamese pagoda structure.

Walking around West Lake 11: 00 AM

A nice walk on Thanh Nien road then to One Pillar Pagoda as well as Ho Chi Minh Mosuluem.

Walking around Ho Chi Minh mosoluem 11.30 AM

Check-in hotel  12.30 AM

We entered the hotel and felt the warm and hospitality of staffs. It was like home there.

And nobody noticed that there was a banner said "Welcome Belgium volunteer group, have a wonderful trip" that hanged in front of the entrance of the lobby. And yes, we took it back with us after the trip as a memory.

Relaxing 13.30 PM

Everyone got tired after a long journey of 13 hours. As an experienced cyclist, Maarten suggested everyone to not take a nap so long because it would make them more tired.

Lunch at Bun Cha Ta 14.30 PM

We wanted to make it to Obama bun cha but it was late so Bun Cha Ta became our choice.

It was nice to see everyone enjoy the first Vietnamese dish "Bun Cha"

Hoa Lo Prison visiting 15.30 PM

Hoa Lo is located nearby Hoan Kiem lake and known as one of the most miserable prison in the past.

Hoan Kiem Lake visiting 16.30 PM

We walked around the lake and enjoyed the view of the lake with some nice photo shootings.

Water pupet theatre  18.30 PM

The 1 hour show was interesting, especially for Maarten.

Dinner at Tong Duy Tan street 19.30 PM

The rice was great as Jana said.

Ready for the next day
