:) The BIG chapter- accommodation.

It is neccessary to know you are not alone, who is looking for accommodation. In the accommodation office I met a crowd of people, who were looking for a roof, don't be shy, just start to talk to people and ask them if they know about something, maybe they have found some accommodation and they are looking for a room-mate and ultimately, in couple is searching easier :) Check the notice boards at the University or in supermarkets, ask the young people in the street- on every corner, if they know about something, you never know, who can help you :)

To looking for accommodation on your own on the web page I have one POINT. Be aware some offers are hooeys !! Generally, if renters don't want to show the room personally, if they are somewhere away and not present in the city and want to send the keys to your current address- for your welfare, please, close the window with this offer!!

In the accommodation office I was told it is not common to occupy an appartment by students, but more common is to rent a room in some family. Okey, but we are exchange  students and we want to survive and without any social life in a foreign country is it pretty difficult, afterwards the best solution is a corridor room, because you are in a daily contact with students, who can help you with the stuff to school and it is the easiest way, how to hear about all events, sessions and meetings, which take place during the weekend or where to go out in the evening and you have possibility to go out with the people you have already met.

The most conveniet rent in Stockholm is around 3000 sek, it is difficult to find something cheaper, but not impossible. Just attend some time in front of the laptop screen, for sure you stumble to the offer according yours ideas.

I add a photo with some useful web pages about accommodation. The best are those, which have an arrow from before the name of the link.

Good luck with searching!

And don't forget you are not alone, who is solving this kind of issue, just keep your eyes open :)
