France is so pretty! After having spent two weeks there (school didn't start yet, yay) we decided to go on a roadtrip to Spain. My roomies: Jhoana and Inas, myself and another friend Olivia, we rented a car and started our trip to Bilbao.

When we got there - thank god we even got there, cause the car wasn't in the best state - we dropped our luggage in our AirBnb and walked through the city. Unfortunately, the weather was quiet bad but still: we had tapas under an umbrella in the rain - so cosy - and went to bars where we had more tapas (haha) and I had the best sangria of my life !! But OMG, that tapas though, every bar we went had a lot of little tapas waiting for us bo be consumed and they were so cheap ! I don't have to tell you we ate all night! :-)

The next day we left Bilbao and drove back to the North until we reached the city San Sebastian. SO PRETTY AGAIN! The weather was still bad so we decided to enter a tapas bar (again, haha) and spent our afternoon there. At night, we went back to France and went to our next AirBnb, located in Biarritz - called a surfers paradise - but when we got there we only found old people enjoying their days. We spent the night there and danced in a pub where they started playing church music - weird?

When we woke up, the last day of our roadtrip had started. Next destionation: Bayonne. Cosy city, we had sea soup next to the water and finally the sun had returned. Perfect day to spend the afternoon in a park while having a siesta. (we were not in Spain anymore but I think French people do have siestas as much as the spanish do).

On our way back home - 30 minutes away from the airport where we had to drop the car - we saw this plate next to the road that said 'Dune du Pilat'. We had heard a lot about it so last minute we decided to take that exit and go there. BEST DECISION EVER! Dune du Pilat is Europe's hightest sand dune, so after a heavy climb we had the best view over the woods and the sea AND I saw the most beautiful sunset I had ever seen !

Definetly the best pit stop we could ever have to end our road trip !

Next day: first day of school... :(
