In Leicester you can find everything... enrollment at the University is easy enough for everyone and the courses available are really interesting and engaging. The forms to be completed for Erasmus students are to be submitted before the start of classes .. you have to fill some modules for the "student and library card", this modules should be completed in Leicester and returned shortly before the start of classes. Before the start of the semester, they spend a week to introduce international students, where they present Leicester, useful addresses, organize parties .. they provide a little '"know how" on the University of Leicester and its operation. Many courses require the semester exams, usually written, and at the end of the semester you will have the ultimate test. In winter it is very cold so I recommend you wrap up well and bring winter clothes, there is enough rain, but there is also a lot of fun! Times are tight, the shops often close in the afternoon at 5:00 PM, but then remain open the PUB that are the pride of the city, and some local clubs in the center are good too... sometimes the Highcross shopping center organize special evenings for students, with discounts and sales dedicated! In the city centre you can find everything, there is also the city market, where you can buy from the bio-genuine vegetables to audio cd...everything ...

To get to the center you can do that easily by bus and not far away there is the Castle Garden Park... is a very nice little park where to stop, there is the river where you can walk on a side and also do boating .. on the other side of the city there is also the Nelson Mandela Park, which is closer to campus and if you find a good accomodation where I lived (at the "Walnut Street Residence") the center there will be not so far to walk, and in addition you will have a legendary pub (the Counting House) on the way to the Univerity and next to this there is Morrisons supermarket, even with a kiosk, photographs-development corner and center small restaurant inside this. Is there TESCO but is closer to the city center, and is not so big, it is smaller supermarkets "Tesco Express" is not the giant ones ... In any case, I recommend the fish & cips of the Counting House pub (on the internet site you can have coupons with discounts if you sign up) where the service is always great and the possibility of having several sports channels with the best live games it comes true!... for example, if you do not want or can not go to the rugby stadium nearby, you can see the matches of Leicester Tiger there, or the Champions League football and more! : P Pub aside, it's a city that deserves to be lived, and of course if you are enrolled in any social network do not miss the photo of the cup of Starbucks!
