If you wanna visit Ireland, you must know there is not very good connections, although the main cities are connected with bus and train. The best idea if you travel with friends is rent a car, it is very very cheap, around 16 euro/day.

The bus company to travel from Dublin to Galway is Citylink and sometimes there are discounts in the journeys, and return tickets also have great prices (but not always).

Train is the most expensive trasport and it is very slow.

There are flights to fly from Cork to Dublin and Galway to Dublin, and Knock to Dublin, but are also expensive.

So Good luck and have fun in Ireland with the rain.
