Today I want to talk about a series of essential tips for maintaining travel safety. The text you read is based on my individual experiences, so it can vary from one person to another, but they are important anyway. Pay attention to them!

  • Any country is safe but before you start your trip, be sure to research a little about it or ask those who have just arrived, if possible.
  • Before you pack, make a list of all the necessary items to make it easier to check. Take a little medicine for headache, pain and antibiotics if necessary, but be sure to have legal remedies. If you put electronic equipment such as power banks, laptops and tablets on the hand luggage, make sure you can easily take them out at checkpoints.
  • Never take unnecessary supplies.
  • Avoid leaving your suitcase unattended.
  • Watch out for your children and always put their name and address and phone number in their pocket or backpack.
  • Choose your clothing according to weather conditions in each region so you do not have to worry.
  • Be careful about the health of your food. Take a lot of fruits and vegetables and always try to drink water because the change in the place of living and the air and diet during the trip may cause constipation.
  • Make a list of places in each city or country to better plan your trip. Have a map of the city.
  • Make sure you have enough rest and sleep on the trip.
  • The next important thing is to not get into a car with strangers. Try to use public transportation and taxis.
  • Take care of your money and identification and your mobile phone or photographic equipment. In one of my trips to the provinces of Iran, someone had stolen my tablet but luckily I found immediately.
  • If you have a specific sensitivity or special disease you must take your medications with you on a trip. If you are allergic to certain foods, be sure to ask the ingredients before eating new foods. I am allergic to milk, on one of my trips, I mistakenly drank milk and I was ill for the rest of my time. I do not like to see this happen again to me.
  • If you travel with a group, make sure you do not miss out on each other. Or try to get in touch especially in crowded places like malls.
  • Don't put all of your money in your wallet or in one pocket, please use a safety box.
