Thursday night in Valladoid

Valladoid has loads of options for going out to party at night, and the good thing is that you get to know the locals, experience different atmospheres, and you can make different plans every weekend, so that you don’t find yourself in a routine that will make you bored of going out. Another good thing is that you can compare the prices of all the areas, and at the end choose one which you like the most and that is convenient for you. I am going to suggest several different nightlife plans in Valladoid, and as well as the local places, I’ll also tell you the activities you can do. I would recommend who to go with, but this I can’t help you with XP.

A good option that you have for nightlife in Valladoid, is to start the night by inviting your friends to your house, to chill and have a drink, to watch the football, a film or simply just enjoying the conversation. When you leave the house, you can go directly to the bars to have a drink, and I would recommend the San Miguel or Plaza Coca zone, and now that you have saved a bit of money by having the first drink in your house, now you can “treat yourself” to a drink in the bar.

If having a party in the house doesn’t appeal to you guys, because you don’t like to clean, the neighbours complain, or just simply that you don’t feel like it, the best area to have the first drink is La Paraiso. It has a lot of bars to choose from, above all shot bars and bars where the star product are the “cachis” – for example (“Cachilandia” or “el duende”). You all also have the option of choosing to put yourselves down for a free bar, but this isn’t always possible and as your mums would tell you, it is not recommendable for your health (and they have a point). When you all leave from the shot bars or Cachis bars, you can head to the bars in San Miguel and Coca, until the night ends. In La Antigua, there are also some bars that you can pass through before going to the centre, that aren’t bad in price and there is enough atmosphere.

Another really good option that you have on a Thursday is to go for tapas around 9 in the evening and at around midnight, when the tapas bars close and the promotion of 2 euros for a beer and tapas finishes, you can head to the San Miguel zone. As you can see, all the options end up in the San Miguel zone, which for me is the best zone to go out to party, with a large variety of bars and a big university atmosphere.

To do pre-drinks in the street at night is not something that we do. If the police see you, they will take your bottles from you and fine you, and also in winter it is very cold so there aren’t many places for people to do it, so if this was one of your ideas, I would get rid of it. A dinner with your friends before going out is also not a bad idea, and if you know where to go, or where to order, you can go out without spending a lot of money.

These are simply some of the different options that you can do in Valladoid, but as I have already told you, it’s you guys that have to explore the city and find the bars, clubs and restaurants etc that you like the most and where you will have the best time. And above all, vary what you do and don’t make it a routine, because then you will end up getting bored of everything and it will quickly make you bored of going out.

Greetings and have a good time
