Registering when you move to Finland - Paperwork

If you go to the police to register, you have to know how long you are going to stay there, if it is shorter than 3 months you don´t need to register; and they´ll probably ask you for a bank statement or something that proves that you have the money to stay.

But if your stay is not that long, and you plan to travel abroad, every time you go to another country, the count starts again.

Registering costs 47 euros! But if you want to have a finnish social security number you need to be registered...
