NSB is the national railway company. It works as RENFE does in Spain. It is the best option if you want to travel all around the country. Why?

First of all, because of its price. You may think that everything in Norway is expensive, as it is, but the tickets for the train, if you buy them in advance, are not that expensive. They have an special offer called "minipris" that, if you buy the tickets 14 days in advance or if you are a student, you can get the cheapest. And it makes a difference because I am travelling from Mo i Rana to Bergen (as you see in the picture, I have to cross all over the country, going to Oslo and taking another train, and it takes longer than a day) for just 299,- (about 37€).

It is also much better than taking a bus, or at least easier. The point is that Norway is such a large country, so distance from one place to another are really big. Also because of the weather, in winter the roads may not be so safe, so I prefer being in the train.

The wagon are really confortable. I have travelled during the night, and you can "easily" fall asleep, and they also provide you with a blanket, just in case you are cold.

All along the way, you can enjoy a great view of Norwegian nature, a lot of trees and many fjords pass over your window.

Free wifi is also a point for being in touch with the people you are meeting, or just to spend the time on watching a movie.

I strongly recomend to take a train and go visiting somewhere in Norway. Mo i Rana (or even Nesna) is far away from the bigests cities of the country, but you can cheap and easily get there!

Don't hesitate and go turisim, because, when are you coming back to Norway?

See you soon,
