In Alta, one of the most famous and outstanding buildings is the Northern Lights Cathedral. There is free entry to this beautiful cathedral. I went there on a Sunday with a friend.

On Sundays, there are often ceremonies. This time there was a ceremony with children. They were performing all kinds of songs and dances, truly beautiful.

Downstairs of the cathedral, an exhibition of the Northern Lights is present, all kinds of interactive facts and figures about the Northern Lights are present. Very learnful and much fun!

When in Altdefinitelyl most definetely experience the northern lights often. They are truly beautiful. At the first time, I even got emotional when seeing them, that beautiful.

They can appear in green and even pink sometimes, depends on how high or low they are present. Often the northern lights are not static, but dynamic, almost like they are dancing through the sky.

But remember, the pictures are representations of the northern lights, however, in real life, they look different.
