How to arrive in Strasbourg from Basilea / Basel's airport?
You are lucky if your plane arrive in Basilea because it is the most confortable option to arrive in Strasbourg.
Switzerland's exit vs French's exit
The airport is not very big so it is hard to get lost. When you disembark of the plane, the security guard probably make you a passport's control. After, you will go to the place where you can pick up the baggage's check in and at the moment you are there, you have to look at the sign which points out the exit.
You will realize that there are two different signs. One of them, indicates the exit to France and the other one, indicates the exit to Switzerland. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT, that you choose to go to the French's exit.
First option: train
If you go on the signs to the exit, you will see a kind of bus stop (actually, it is a post with information about the bus). You have to wait there until the bus arrives, surely it won't take a long time, since it arrives quickly. I guess that only that bus arrives in that bus stop, but you need to pay attention that it goes to "Saint-Louis" (line 11). You have to take the bus, which costs around 2 or 3 euros, and you will arrive in a train station in only five or ten minutes.
Altough the bus doesn't leave you exactly in the train station, it is very easy to reach it, because all the passengers who were with you probably go to the same place. You only have to follow them. If you were alone in the bus (which it is almost impossible), it is also easy to find it. In the place where the bus leaves you, you need to go to the left and you will find the station.
Once in the station, you only have to find a machine and to buy a train's ticket to Strasbourg. In days and schedules' weekly, a train arrives each half hour or one hour. The train ticket costs around 20 euros and you can only pay by credit card in the machine. If you prefer to pay by cash, you have to go to a ticket office. I don't recommend this last option because you can lose the train. Don't forget to validate your train ticket. The journey lasts around one hour.
Second option: bus
In addition, there is the option to take a bus that arrives in Strasbourg directly. The only company I know is Flixbus. However, I don't recommend it althought it is cheaper than the other option because there are some problems sometimes and it can be late more than one hour. Moreover, the journey in Flixbus is longer, since it has a lot of stops and you can arrive in Strasbourg in 2 hours or 2 hours and a half.
