Galata Tower (Galata külesi) is a 63m high tower near to Taksim. If you go up the tower you will have an amazing view of Istanbul (picture will come). Rumors say that when you go up with a person of another gender, you will get married. You can see the tower from afar because there are many attractions in the near. So every time I use the ferry I've got the luck to see this:

Every time I pass by it is a blessing - great architecture!

But the view from below is great too and there are many cafes and restaurants in the near of the tower. So enjoy this beauty while eating and tasting the turkish kitchen.

Like I told you in my first text there are many "wow-effects" in this city and I've to say that this view was one of these "wows". Actually it's much greater from the top of the tower and you lose yourself while you look in the distance. At the top of the tower is a cafe where you can take a break with coffee and cake.

And another thing - don't forget to fondle the dogs which lay there around the tower!
