Coffee guide
Guys! You already know that in Spain we drink a lot of coffee! It's a very popular drink in Spain, with breakfast, just to speak with friends or to pass time. There are many different kinds of coffee made with a lot of milk, not a lot, without milk, with liquors, etc. When you come to Spain, it will help you a lot to know how we call the different kinds of cafe. Here you have a list to explain everything :)
- Espresso: Single shot of coffee
- Americano: A diluted coffee
- Macciato: Coffee with foamed milk
- Espresso Panna: Coffee with cream
- Doble: Double shot of coffee
- Cortado: Coffee with a little milk
- Café con leche: Half coffee, half milk
- Lágrima: Small amount of coffee and a lot of milk
- Cappuccino: Coffee with a little milk and a lot of foamed milk
- Café Latte: Coffee with a lot of milk and a little foamed milk
- Breve: Coffee with equal parts milk and cream
- Mocha/Vienés: Coffee with chocolate, milk and foam
- Irlandés: Coffee with whisky and cream
- Caramel Macchiato: Coffee with milk, foam and caramel syrup
- Hawaiano: Coffee with coconut milk
- Café Amaretto: Coffee with amaretto liquor and milk cream
- Arabe: Coffee with spices
- Caribeño: Coffee with rum, brown sugar and vanilla
- Submarino: Milk with a bar of chocolate
- Quitafrío: Milk with whisky or rum, honey and spices
