Early in the first term on the train to Seville, we decided to make a bucket list of things to do before we left, just to make sure that we didn’t get complacent and miss out on our year abroad. I decided that this would be a good place to put our list and keep a track of what we manage to tick off the list. Also I thought it might inspire other people’s list, and of course if you have any suggestions for things that we must do before we leave, then please leave them below!

Take a Surfing Lesson – ESN organised lessons in the Autumn which we missed, must do better if they return in Summer.
Visit Granada -
Visit Morocco – Trip booked for the end of February
Return to Gibraltar – I have returned with my parents, but we shall all go together at some point hopefully
Go Dolphin and Whale Watching in Tarifa – Sophie went with her boyfriend, but the rest of us are yet to organise it.
Visit the White Villages – Had a brief visit to one on the ESN Tarifa and Conil trip, we would like to return some other time.
Visit Madrid – Trip booked for the end of May, including seeing One Direction
Visit Barcelona -
Trip to Ibiza – Hoping that ESN will organise a trip here in May, waiting to hear about this
Tour of the Camera Oscuro and the Torre Tavira – Many of us have been separately but we have planned to all go together this weekend.
Go to a Flamenco Show – Hopefully we will be going to one tomorrow
Finish Reading a Novel in Spanish – I have read Harry Potter 1 and 2, Claire and Kath are working on books 3 and 4.
Pass a university module – We are yet to see if we will manage this, but it isn’t looking promising for this term!
Answer a question in history of Andalucia Class – We have done some reading aloud, but failed to correctly answer a question – oops!
Go to a Cádiz CF football match – We went to San Fernando vs Cádiz. 0 – 0, but an entertaining afternoon
Experience Carnival – Not long to wait!
Go to a Bull Fight -
Visit Claire in Italy in Second Semester – Flights booked for April to celebrate Claire’s 21st Birthday.
Do the City Sightseeing Tour of Cádiz – Kath has done it with her family, the rest of us haven’t managed it, but not sure how much we will miss.
Have a ‘Spanish Day’ -
Have a Typical Sunday Lunch -
Celebrate an Erasmus Christmas with Secret Santa – Achieved, great fun!
Watch the Sunset from the Beach with Cocktails – Been done a couple of times, lovely evening.
Visit Malaga – Only on the way to and from the Airport
Go to a Boat Party –
Have a Day Horse Riding in Jerez -

Good list but wouldn't fancy the bull fight! Why don't you have a go at scuba diving??

Scuba diving is a good Idea. You do not even have snorkelling on this list
