Barcelona is mediterranean lifestyle, multicultural environment, historical monuments and lively local culture, but also is international universites and business opportunities. Accoding with that, nobody hesitate that Barcelona has lots of reason to be well-known around the Erasmus.

But in this article I'm not going to talk about why to study in Barcelona, because if you are reading this, is because you already know it (and probable, even better than me). On the other hand, what I want is helping you to choose where to stay and let you some advises before finding your perfect student housing

Gracia

Gracia is the coolest neighborhood in the city. Its streets (such us Verdi) and squares (Virreina, Vila de Gracia) are crowd of international restaurants, alternatives shops and cultural events. If you take a walk around, you will fall in love with its pedestrian streets and its antic buildings. It is placed between Passeig de Gracia and Park Güell.

Eixample

The Eixample is the heart of Barcelona, placed between the old city (Ciutat Vella) and the neighborhoods of Sants, Gracia and Sant Andreu. This historical neighborhood is one of the most valorated in Barcelona because still remains as a modernism treasure. Here you may find the most famous monuments of Barcelona: Sagrada Familia, Pedrera Houese and Batlló House. All of them has been build by Antoni Gaudi.

If you want to live here, you will be near to any place. And if you need go a bit far more, you have several metro and train stations.

The Gotic Quartier and the Born

This medieval quarter is popular for its narrow pedestrian streets and its unending and endless leisure offer: pubs, restaurants, shops and all you can imagine. If you want to live here, you will have a diferrent plan every day, but maybe also you will have to live with a bit of noisy. This district are places between the coast, the famous Ramblas and the Eixample.
