Beauty tips
As erasmus students, I am sure that you go out a lot and probably don't get enough sleep. Here, I will write some beauty tips, so that you can take care of your skin. If you dedicate some of your time at night or during the weekend, you can relax and use some of those tips depending on what you need. All of them include ingredients that are very simple and can be found at any house. I have known some for years and my friends taught me the rest of them during my erasmus year.
-
ICE CUBES: Using ice cubes, you can shrink your pores. Gently massage your face before applying make up and after you remove your make-up. Ice cubes also help reduce the pimples.
-
BAKING SODA: Soda is supposed to whiten your teeth. However, don't use it on a daily basis -I've been told that once or twice a month is enough.
-
OLIVE OIL: I love the olive oil's effect on the body, it can be really miraculous. It's ideal for body scrubs, when combined with coffee or sugar. Apart from that, it can be a great night cream: A mixture of half a cup of olive oil, ¼ cup of vinegar and ¼ cup of water can make your skin glow. The olive oil softens and moisturizes and the vinegar reduces stains, kills germs and removes dead skin cells. Wash your face with some water and then apply the night cream. Finally, olive oil can also work as an anti-frizz product for dry hair. Put a drop of olive oil on your hand, rub your hands and apply it gently to your hair.
-
SALT: Use some coarse salt and an essential oil with grapefruit as a scrub if you have cellulite.
-
TEA: Apart from drinking tea, you can use it to get rid of dark circles under your eyes. Apart from that, you can buy a green tea extract and apply to your face in order to tighten the skin.
-
LEMON: Use lemon juice if you have oily skin -apply daily. Also, the antiseptic and antibacterial qualities of lemon help fight acne and pimples.
-
BEER: Did you know that beer's great for your hair? Apply a can of beer in your hair after you wash it. Leave it for at least five minutes and then rinse your hair.
