Blog: My accomodation
Tags: Erasmus tips

Personally, it was very easy to find the accommodation for me because our Erasmus coordinator helped us beforehand.  They booked our accommodations on the campus with other international students. We all were Bachelor and Master's students placed together with Romanian students, in triple rooms at the Targusor-Copou campus, it was bus-stations away from the university. I knew the address and I just got in. I was prepared well and they helped me to figure out everything else.  I liked the dormitory staff, they were very hospitable and gave us everything that we needed from clean sheets to refreshing our bathrooms.   I thought that it was great to live in the student's dormitory because I was in contact with many international students and I had so much fun with them. Yes, it was true in this photo, It is taken in Iasi Romania, Dormitory C3.

I was living on the second floor of a 5 floors dormitory. My room was very clean with hot water and a heater.  I had a refrigerator and bathroom inside in my room and there was a kitchen was on every floor just 1 minutes of walking from my room. We had the big shelf and there were 3 beds in one room but the price was reasonable.

In my room !!! Xoxoxo

I was an Erasmus Mundus student from Georgia.  It was the first time I moved to another country and it was absolutely breathtaking feeling for me. I recommend everyone to leave the country and go visit other countries, it is the most exciting feeling ever. I had a great opportunity to study abroad. I had two golden years while I was in the EU (Romania).  It was an experience that I will never forget.  I gain many friends and we created good relationships.

Furthermore, Erasmus is the best program ever, I wish to apply again. Back in my country I advised everyone to go there and I underline the importance of Erasmus and now again Erasmus gave me chance to participate in another competition, I am really motivated because I Know the importance of Erasmus. I had 2 roommates one of them was from my country.  We became really good friends and she helped me a lot.  If not for her I would have missed out on some other opportunities.  Another was from Moldova.  I tried speaking in Russian and Romanian with her because she was fluent in both.  We shared our experience and I studied a lot of new things from them, definitely made me a better person.

New year's party! hohoho

It seems that we are really happy with the accommodation and everything.  I recommend for the future students to ask for help from a local Erasmus coordinator and have at least one roommate. As well, they should not be afraid of finding the accommodation because Erasmus staff is really helpful about it. I would recommend them to live in a dormitory because it is homelike and comfortable. My tip as well as to travel a lot.  It was my dream to travel around Europe, now my mind is opened to endless possibilities because of my experiences.
