Alhondiga in Bilbao has become a "masterpiece": we are talking about a former warehouse of liquors and wines that has been turned into a cultural and performances center.

The story of this place is emblematic to make us understand the incredible change of Bilbao: a post-industrial, dirty, high-polluted and not interesting city that today has changed in a vibrant cultural and touristic European capital (remember we are in the Basque country).

Alhondiga is today one of the several attractions of the city not only for many exhibitions and performances of artists coming from all over the world, but also for the emblematic structure: a fantastic mix of classical and modern architecture that is itself an attraction.
