What is it like to live in Bern? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
The city is quiet and very safe and people there respect the rules and the traffic and coexistence laws are well-respected. There are lots of tourists all year round for the different seasons, so you learn from all of the cultures and the languages. But the Bernese language is Bern Deutsch and it is quite difficult.
What is the student lifestyle in Bern?
There are lots of students coming from all over the world to learn the language here.
How much does it cost to live in Bern?
The food is pretty expensive, but the social security and healthcare are the most expensive things, but lots of people pay for insurance.
Was it difficult to find accommodation in Bern? Do you have any advice?
It wasn't for me, because my parents live here, it's good to have contacts and get references from them.
What is the food like there? What are some of your favourite dishes?
The food in Bern is delicious and there are lots of things from all different countries, you just have to know what to choose, since some dishes are very spicy and people who don't eat meat have to be careful.
Where would you recommend to visit in Bern?
Zittkloke, the Einstein museum (Einsteinhaus). Gurten, Tierpark, the bear bridge, Rosengarten.
