Mercat de la Boqueria - The paradise of fruits

Watch out, sensory overload!

This place has such a lively atmosphere, lots of colours and scents! This happens from Monday to Saturday. This is what the market looks like on a Sunday.

Watch out, sensory overload!

Here I tried for the first time sweet tamarind. Its flavour is sweet and sour at the same time and Google says it’s super healthy. I totally recommend it!

Antoni Gaudí’s masterpieces all over the city

Watch out, sensory overload!

We saw all the '3D' buildings designed by him! Just the exterior!

The price of a ticket to visit them inside is around 20 euros, which makes it pretty difficult for an Erasmus student at the end of his/her Erasmus experience haha.

‘After the End of the World’ exhibition

Watch out, sensory overload!

In the panorama above you can see the Contemporary Art Museum of Barcelona, which was closed on that Sunday. And oh, we were so lucky! This way we discovered one of the most powerful exhibitions I have ever seen, at the Contemporary Culture Centre, just behind the museum.

Watch out, sensory overload!

The topic was the climate change and how, for the last two centuries, humans affected our planet and what it will look like in 2050. Believe me, it’s scary!

In the picture above you can see a part of a kitchen in London. On the table there are only some jars and when you look on the window, you see a lot of smoke and factories. No green zones!

Watch out, sensory overload!

Huge panels with pictures taken by a drone helps us seeing most of the places where people changed the natural course of life. For example, building the dendrite on the blue background killed a lot of coral reefs for sure. You cannot help but wonder if it’s too late to reverse the effects

Let’s promise ourselves that we’ll change something, at least our behaviour towards the nature, and conclude in a good mood!

Watch out, sensory overload!

Messi is making us crazy about football and chocolate at the Chocolate Museum!

Every visitor receives a very nice gift at the entrance! Please comment below if you want to ruin the surprise.

Thank you for your attention!
