I was in Barcelona twice. I had the chance to go there during my internships. I went there in 2014 and 2015.

The most impressive in Barcelona was Antoni Gaudí architecture impact. He was the man who impressed people and the architects of the 19 century by his architecture style. His architecture style is Modernism (Art Nouveau) where he involved the modernity of life. You might notice the depiction of people, animals and various symbols on his works. For instance, the lizard which is the symbol of "Park Güell". I also like his "Sagrada Familia" design it is something beyond real church. So much work was put in there and it looks just amazingly brilliant to me. I observed that Jesus was depicted there and different people worship him. The most striking thing about the church "Sagrada Família" is that it is still building. Nevertheless, people are losing their heads staring on his depiction of his Modernism style. It is just something that you would not see in other places. It is actually considered as the best and most attracted church in Spain.

Park Güell was the other mind-blowing place. The park drives you to the world of creativity and the design of tile. It consists of many interesting objects and colourings. The key of his works is the tile. Usually, the tile is broken in pieces and coloured by different paints which make a picture or image of something. Antoni Gaudí adds tile everywhere on the roofs of the houses he had made, on the bench, on the ceiling and many other places. It is barely visible but If you take a look on his work you will see the tile. His approach to architecture is quite catching. I paid attention that tourists just adore his masterpieces. There is also a colonnaded pathway that is awesome and drew my attention but without tile. It is delirious-looking object makes your mind fly away. It reminded me a wave with columns. However, my favorite place was the view at the Pavilion and the Gaudi's house. You may see the photo below.

Therefore, I walked in my favorite place which is called "Hard Rock Cafe" It is a comfortable cafe for tourists to enjoy their free time there. That is the place, where you might hear rock music on the background. There are photos of classic rock musicians and performers. I saw many guitars of musicians such as: Keith Richards who plays the lead guitar in "Rolling Stones", Brian Bell who on the lead vocals and guitar in punk rock band "Weezer" and many more guitars of musicians. My favorite one, was the signed guitar by the all members of Metallica. I had a great dinner there and then I moved travelling further. I do reccomend you to visit Hard Rock Cafe.

The other impressive thing was the La Rambla street. The street itself consists of many interesting and modern buildings. There are many different markets and shops. Likewise, I noticed amazing buildings and monuments such as "Theatre Principal", "Pavement mosaic by Joan Miró", "Gran Teatre del Liceu" and monument of Christopher Columbus at Port Vell. Christopher Columbus monument was built in Modernism style as "Sagrada Familia". It was great seeing the first man who explored the "New World". Nevertheless, he is the Spanish pride.

Apart from Gaudi's works and Hard Rock Cafe I have seen different places such as, Plaça de Catalunya, Barcelona Cathedral, Hospital de Sant Pau, mountain Tibidabo and many more. I had been strolling around dozens interesting and spectacular places and monuments. It will be difficult for me to name all of them. I saw many tourists from all over the world there; great culture and richness of the city make people feel happy. I admired everything there: culture, architecture, museums and modern life. There were lots of things to see and lots of things to do.

I was completely overwhelmed in Barcelona. Even though, I went travelling by myself in 2015 I felt excellent in a marvelous Barcelona. Every time, I see some TV program or picture where Barcelona is I always think about how I spent my time in there. I would definitely go there over and over again.
