Hello!

My name is Matilda. I am a Swedish ambitious young woman. I have lived in Stockholm, Sweden, for my entire life. I am now graduating in the spring of 2014 from Viktor Rydberg Gymnasium Jarlaplan in Stockholm, one of the highest rated schools in Sweden. I am moving to Barcelona in the fall of 2014 for four years of studying at the LaSalle University in Barcelona. When I arrive to Barcelona next fall I will be 19 years old. Currently I am 18 years old. I have seven years of intense experience with children, and more than ten references from Swedish families who I have worked for during my many years of babysitting. This year I spent the summer with a wonderful Swedish family in Cannes in France. Their reference is of course available. I am a very active and creative nanny. I always make sure the children have an active and pleasant time during my babysitting hours. To leave the children in front of the TV is not an option for me. I am very interested in sports and health. I love running and to work out daily. I am also a passionate football player. I have played football for a team in the suburb, which I grew up in, called Saltsjöbaden IF, for more than ten years. I plan to apply to a new football team for girls when I arrive to my new university in Barcelona. It is such a great way to make new friends. I have chosen to study a Bachelor in Business. During my four-years-long education I have the possibility to spend one year in New York or similar, thanks to the University Exchange Program. But that will not be relevant until my third or fourth year. I am very exited though.

During my babysitting hours, I adapt the activities to what the children's are interested in and like to do of course. But to visit parks and playing grounds, playing different games, exploring different sports and to help the children with their homework, are all activities, which usually works very well for me.

I am a very social and outgoing person towards new people and new families, and I look forward experiencing an entirely new city. It will be an amazing adventure. I will live in an apartment in central Barcelona with my Swedish boyfriend Leonard. Leonard is currently studying the first year of his bachelor at the university, which I will attend in the fall, the LaSalle University of Barcelona.

I will go to school from 9.00 - 14.00; Monday - Friday; during my first year of university. That will give me Monday - Friday Afternoons plus Evenings during the Weekdays to babysit.

During the Weekends I will be able to work FULL-TIME as a babysitter/nanny.

Other work experiences: I currently work in a dumpling restaurant in Stockholm called Beijing8. I cook, I serve and I take care of the cash register.

http://www.beijing8.com

A reference is of course available. I am very happy with my job. It is a perfect weekend-job. Good pay and a lot of learning potential.

Before that I worked a short time at a bakery in Stockholm called Brunkebergs Bakery. http://www.brunkebergsbageri.se

I only worked for a short while because I had to much school at the time to be able to have time for a part-time-work as well. So a reference from here is not available I am afraid. But I learned a lot in my short time there, both consuming baking and customer management.

I also worked two years as a football coach for a little league girl-team in Saltsjöbaden IF. It provided me with a lot of experience consuming working with children, authority and responsibility. And it was very fun! A reference is of course available.

In my free time I like hanging out with my friends and my boyfriend, reading, shopping (especially in a city like Barcelona), playing football, running, swimming and working out at the gym. I do not smoke and I am not allergic to any pets. I am not religious. I speak Swedish and English fluently, and Spanish rather well. I attend to speak Spanish fluently by the end of my first year in Barcelona.

English-speaking, Swedish-speaking or Spanish-speaking families are all more than welcome to contact me if you look for an Experienced, Talented and Creative Swedish Nanny to babysit your children during the fall of 2014 and forward! Salary is to be discussed, but I will charge by the hour.

And so are restaurants, clothing shops and ALL JOB-OFFERS in Barcelona! I am intrested in everything.

Best Regards, Matilda
