What is it like to live in Barcelona? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I recommend live in Barcelona, because it's a big city and you have a lots of things to do, and the people are nice and friendly!

What is the student lifestyle like in Barcelona?

I thing that in Barcelona are three lifestyle:
1. The people who are always studying.
2. The people who are always going party.
3. The people who know how to equilibrate the studying and the party, this is the best thing, bacause if you can do this you are going to enjoy your life in Barcelona.

How much does it cost to live in Barcelona?

You have to count the flat (200-350 euros/month), the university (depend if it's private or not), the food (80- 120 euros/month), the transport (If you go walking it's free, but if you go with bus/train/subway it's 50 euros/month and you can do all the trips that you want) and finally the party (the discotheque sometimes it's free and sometimes you have to paid between 5-15 euros depend of the party).

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Barcelona? Is there any advice you can give?

It's not difficult but you have to search a lot if you ant to find the best flat for you and you flatmates.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is good, I like a lots of thinks so I can't say only one. But the most tradicional food here is Omelette (Tortilla de Patata)

What places would you recommend visiting in Barcelona?

Maybe the Sagrada Familia, les Rambles, Gothic cathedral, Park Güell, la Pedrera, Palau de música Catalana, Liceu, Jardi Botànic, Casa Batlló.

Is it good to eat out in Barcelona? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

It's good but I think it's a litlle bit expencive. My favourite Bar of tapas is Bar Bero, in Calle Mandri, 35.

Is the nightlife good in Barcelona? Where is good to go?

Nick havana, Apolo, Sutton, Soho, Sala Bikini, Privé, Costa Breve, City Hall, Opium, Vetro.

What advice would you give future students heading to Barcelona?
