What is it like to live in Barcelona? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I have been living in Barcelona for 3 months now and I am so in love with this city. People here are warm and welcome, you will find friends easily here! The city is beautiful in its own way, you can almost feel the history in all the old buildings in Gotic. I love this city

What is the student lifestyle like in Barcelona?

I am currently studying on the internet so I am not really sure. But i can see on others behalf that it is amazing and it is an awesome way of getting alot of friends.

How much does it cost to live in Barcelona?

Between 200-400 euros depends on how you want to live or where you want to live.
I pay 340 and i live right behind Placa Reial, so I am sure you can get cheaper places.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Barcelona? Is there any advice you can give?

Not at all. I found my accomodation on Erasmusu. My advice to you is that you should always go check a room out. Be sure that nobody is trying to trick you because that attend to happend to some here. But most of all, everybody is very sweet!

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is good. There are alot of good dishes from this city. Yesterday i tried Paella for the first time and it was amazing also the famous tapas is good. Try to find the right place to eat tapas.

What places would you recommend visiting in Barcelona?

Montjuic is a beautiful place to go. Go by day or by night, either way it will always be beautiful. I love walking around in Bourne since they have a lot of good bars, restaurants and cafes and you can end up at parc ciutadella and relax in the grass.

Is it good to eat out in Barcelona? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

I love this little place that serves dumplings, it is called Mosquito and is very nice. You might have to wait for a table but it will go fast. If you like good burgers go to Kiosko or Pim Pam Burger, they'll make you dream about it forever.

Is the nightlife good in Barcelona? Where is good to go?

The nightlife is good. Apolo is okay, and have a lot of good concerts, and then there is Razzmatazz whitch is huge with 5 rooms of different music. Then there is Jamboree and Boulevard where you can get a list if you walk around ramblas or placa reial there are promoters taking your name for the list. The clubs are okay if you are with a bunch of friends but a bit expensive to drink in, so drink before.

What advice would you give future students heading to Barcelona?

Have a beautiful time in Barcelona and enjoy. The city is awesome.
