What is it like to live in Barcelona? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Barcelona is a cosmopolitan city, full of entertainments, restaurants, parks, places to go and things to do. 10/10 would recommend. Everywhere is full of people, diversity is the key.

What is the student lifestyle like in Barcelona?

It's fantastic. You can go to museums, expositions and a lot of places to learn things. At the same time, you have a lot of entertainments for when you are not studying. The Metro can get you anywhere you want, so it doesn't matter where's your university at, you'll reach fantastic places onces you're out. Barcelona is a young city.

How much does it cost to live in Barcelona?

It is really expensive. You can't find a good place to live for less than 400 euros. The best you can do is share appartment or find a residence. For basic necessities, you can fing a supermarket that has good prices, but going out to grab a bite, or going to a party is going to be really expensive.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Barcelona? Is there any advice you can give?

Yes, it is. Most of the appartments there are now accommodations for turists, but there are zones that may be suitable for a student. Just take it easy, relax, and be patient.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The amount variety of food is impressive. You can go to a typical bar or restaurant and, also, you can look for whatever type of food you like: chineses, japanese, italian, from thailand...

What places would you recommend visiting in Barcelona?

Parc Güell, Sagrada Familia, Parc de la Ciutadella, Aquarium, Barri del Raval, Cosmocaixa, all the beaches...

Is it good to eat out in Barcelona? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

It is perfect to go to eat out in Barcelona but a little bit expensive. Places I like: Konig, Ramen-ya Hiro.

Is the nightlife good in Barcelona? Where is good to go?

You can find a lot of places to go out depending on the music taste that you have. Places you can go: Razzmatazz, Sala Apolo.

What advice would you give future students heading to Barcelona?

Enjoy your time here! Barcelona is full of experiences!
