What is it like to live in Barcelona? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It's very lively. People are fiendly to you and helpful. A great place to have holidays at, but not so much for living. Having the beach that close is a great thing, there are many tourists dzring summer and many parties

How much does it cost to live in Barcelona?

If you are a tourist, Barcelona may seem not too expensive, but if you live and work there it can be pretty expensive

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Barcelona? Is there any advice you can give?

It's not hard, but expensive. For students to get only one room starts at 250€/month and more

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Spanish food is fantastic! Many flavors and different types of food. There are several italian, chinese etc., restaurants, in case you want to try something else.

What places would you recommend visiting in Barcelona?

The entire Barcelona is a beautiful city with many places to visit, and see. Depending on what kind of places you would like to visit, everything can be found here. If you are a party person, the beach is where you should go. If you like football, or even if you don't, the Camp Nou is a must see. For art fans I would recommend the Casa Milá, Casa Batlló, Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya and the Barri Gòtic (Gothic Quarter). If you like exploring and watching the landskape you should visit the Montserrat Mountain. There is also a City History Museum if you want to know the history of Barcelona.

Is it good to eat out in Barcelona? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Eating italian, greek, indian chineese is the same everywhere, so if you like those, you are safe, there are planty of those places. But if you want to try the real Spanish food there are restaurants for it too

Is the nightlife good in Barcelona? Where is good to go?

The nightlife is awesome, Spaniards do know how to party and they do it big. There are seval good places to party

What advice would you give future students heading to Barcelona?

Barcelona is an amazing place to visit with many good places, so try and visit everything, because it's worth it!
