How much does it cost to live in Barcelona?

I pay 400€/month in rent, that includes internet, electricity, water..etc. I spend on groceries about 20€/week..and in restaurants, clothes..etc about 50€/month

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Barcelona? Is there any advice you can give?

No, many students offer rooms to rent at price from 300 to 500. I think that it's better to rent a room from international environment rather than rent a whole apartment just for yourself. When you live in a shared apartment it's easier learn languages and meet other people.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Every restaurant offers sea food dishes and paella. I prefer some good old fashion steaks instead of sea food. Even the pickiest person can find good food in here.

What places would you recommend visiting in Barcelona?

Parc Güell, Barcelona Zoo, Mountain Tibidabo, Sagrada Familia

Is it good to eat out in Barcelona? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

My favourite restaurant is Santa Anna, near La Rambla. Good food in a good price.

Is the nightlife good in Barcelona? Where is good to go?

In Barcelona you can party every day. Opium Mar at the beach is a great place, they have erasmus parties and they party on sundays. If you are in facebook, you can join shaz guest list and have amazing offers and free entrances.

What advice would you give future students heading to Barcelona?

In Autumn the weather can vary from cold and rainy to a warm and sunny. So pick up clothes that match in every weather
