To live in Barcelona is a great experience as the city combines huge variety of people, good transport connections, cost effectiveness and rich culture.

What is the student lifestyle like in Barcelona?

There are many options for students to party, but also to participate in other indoor and outdoor activities with discounts available for students nearly everywhere.

How much does it cost to live in Barcelona?

A budget of 1000 euros is enough to live more than properly.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Barcelona? Is there any advice you can give?

Accommodation is not really difficult to find as there are thousands of apartments and student residences.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The typical food consists mainly of tapas (small dishes) so If you want to have a proper three course meal foreign cuisine is the answer. There are also many open buffets with quality food at prices between 10 and 15 euros per person.

What places would you recommend visiting in Barcelona?

Top priority attractions in my opinion are:

- Placa Espanya & Montjuic
- Sagrada Familia
- Park Guell
- Tibidabo
- The Port and the Statue of Columbus

Is the nightlife good in Barcelona? Where is good to go?

There is a vast nightlife scene in Barcelona. Depending on your taste of music and atmosphere you can choose from more classy clubs situated near Aribau str. or more casual around Las Ramblas.
