What is the student lifestyle like in Barcelona?

Having one of the best universities in all of Europe, Barcelona is the perfect city to do an exchange in, as well as there being a multitude of cultural events offered to university students where you can really get to know cultures from all over the world. This is why Barcelona is one of the European cities which receives the most international Erasmus year students.

How much does it cost to live in Barcelona?

Barcelona can be a lot more expensive than other cities, however, there are always ways to save money, such as sharing a small flat, cooking at home and using public transport so you don't waste money on taxis.

The food in Barcelona is simply extraordinary. Thanks to being an internationally important city you can find lots of different types of food, as well as Spanish food, which of course is delicious.

What places would you recommend visiting in Barcelona?

Is there any advice you'd like to give to future students heading to Barcelona?

Although at first Catalan people can see a bit closed off with their culture, after time you get used it. Also, you should know that you're in one of the most beautiful cities in the world and that it's the perfect destination to have your Erasmus experience in.
