Living in Barcelona is great. It's a big city with plenty activities to do. It has also pretty amazing buildings and landscapes with so much history.

What is the student lifestyle like in Barcelona?

The student lifestyle at the University depends on the faculty you go to, although the city itself offers so much.

How much does it cost to live in Barcelona?

It's cheaper than countries like Sweden or Austria but more expensive than Poland, for exemple. Flat prices in Barcelona are indeed expensive due to gentrification.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Barcelona? Is there any advice you can give?

What's difficult is to find a place with a reasonable price, although if you share it with roommates it's affordable.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Gastronomy is really great and you can find nice and cheap restaurants to eat.

What places would you recommend visiting in Barcelona?

Parc Güell, some Museums like MACBA, Búnkers del Carmel, les Rambles, Laberint d'Horta, Maremagnum...

Is it good to eat out in Barcelona? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Anywhere is good, actually.

Is the nightlife good in Barcelona? Where is good to go?

You have a lot of places to go. If you just fancy some drinks you can go to Ovella Negra. To go out at clubs there are quite a few in Vila Olímpica: Catwalk, Pachá...

What advice would you give future students heading to Barcelona?

Enjoy the city and don't be afraid to get lost and discover new places. There are some small streets that are kind of bohemia full of shops and it's nice to walk by them.
