What is it like to live in Barcelona? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Barcelona is a 360º city. You have mountain and sea, party and places to chill, expensive and cheap bars and restaurants. You can visit the "old Barcelona" through very well preserved museums and monuments and you can also visit the "Barcelona Moderna" (new and modern infractores and places). Transport is the best of Barcelona, there are lots of lines (bus, metro and tram...also taxis and Cabify (similar to Uber)). WHEATHER IS AMAZING!

What is the student lifestyle like in Barcelona?

Barcelona is the perfect city for students. You can find a lot of party, lot of entertainment (cinemas, theaters, bowling, gym, shopping...). The best thing is that people is super open-minded and friendly.

How much does it cost to live in Barcelona?

It's not as expensive as other European cities but it's quite expensive. You should consider the following:
- Shared Flat: 350-400€ (monthly)
- Public transport: 50€ (monthly)
- Food: depending if you go out usually or if you eat at home. (15-20 € for a meal in a medium-quality restaurant)
- Entertainment: depending on your hobbies

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Barcelona? Is there any advice you can give?

Not really. There are lots of international or local students looking for roommates in all areas of Barcelona (Gracia, les Corts, Eixample, el Clot, Sarria...).
My advice is to look for a flat where you have a metro/bus stop near. Then, it's super easy to go to one place to another.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Spanish food is amazing. But if you don't like it, don't worry. There are lots of restaurants of different styles (Japanese, Indian, Asian, American, Vegetarian and vegan, Greek...)

What places would you recommend visiting in Barcelona?

- Barceloneta Beach
- Camp Nou (FCB stadium)
- Plaza Cataluña
- Bunkers
- La Pedrera

and more

Is the nightlife good in Barcelona? Where is good to go?

The good thing is that there're different styles clubs (younger people, older people, rock places, pop places, places with lots of international people, places with local people...)

Best places to me:
- Apolo
-Bling Bling
- Opium
