Why did you choose to go to Barcelona, Spain?
I think Barcelona has a lot of potential in many aspects I am passionate about. It is the best city in Spain for entrepreneurship endeavors since there are people from all over the globe and you always encounter new people that help you with anything you need.
What is the student lifestyle like in Barcelona?
There are events on a daily basis and there are always many people keen on organizing great activities. Besides to parties, you will be invited to social events that will make you feel fulfilled.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Barcelona to other students?
100%. The best city for Erasmus people. In the university all the professors speak English properly.
What is the food like?
Spanish food is one of the best food kind I have ever tasted!
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Barcelona?
Yes, this would be the drawback. There are too many people looking for an appart that I had to struggle a bit to find one for myself.
How much does it cost to live in Barcelona?
600€/month (Keeping parties apart).
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
No and Yes. The language itself is not easy for those who come from non-latin countries. Nonetheless the availability to attend courses is really high and hence the likelihood to improve spanish is also high!
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Barcelona?
Opium.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Barcelona?
La Flauta, el Nacional.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
All Gaudí master-pieces and Picasso's Museum.
