Why did you choose to go to Barcelona, Spain?

Actuall,I have a different feelings that was positive because spanish people are always friendly,kind and fun.when I arrived to Barcelona I thought I was right.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I've studied from 10th february 2013 to 26th june 2013.I took 1900€ as a grant.

What is the student lifestyle like in Barcelona?

It is perfect,because Esn Barcelona is working very good ,they have trips to different countries,valencia Madrid Zaragoza ,especially Ibiza is unforgettable

Would you recommend the city and the University of Barcelona to other students?

Dont have any unclear idea about Barcelona,because the UB is really good that has facilities interested to teach students.And also,I have never lived discrimination

What is the food like?

It is a litte hard me.because I am from Turkey and our food culture is very different. But I like paella that is Rice and it was really delicous

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Barcelona?

It is like 300-350€ per montly everything includes gas,water,internet etc

How much does it cost to live in Barcelona?

your expenses are close 900€ per montly. Accomodation 300-350€,transportation 50€ ,nightlife is depends you :) 100€ ,food 250€ and bills,phone or something is in extra 100€

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I didnt get spanish course.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Barcelona from your city?

It is definitely airway,İstanbul to Barcelona is 180€ round way.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Barcelona?

I can divide day to day. On thursday the sutton club,on friday opium mar ,on saturday otto zutz ,on wednesday razzmatazz ,on sunday Hotel W. But I think on of the best club in Barcelona Opium Mar.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Barcelona?

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

If you are interested History, you are right place.you can feel the history all around the Barcelona. Sagrada familia,catedral, la bouqurea , parq guell, barra el gotica, gaudi's home,sant mojustic,picasso museum

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Barcelona in the future?

Keep calm and lets go to party.Dear friends ,if you wanna live really erasmus that includes education, to learn new culture,speak new languages ,meet new friends and also nightlife is very very good ,if it is important for you.Choose Barcelona.By the way, dont forget to go camp nou for Barcelona matches.
