Why did you choose to go to Barcelona, Spain?
I visited the city a few years ago for a weekend, and decided I would always come back.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
I am here for 6 months, and I receive extra around 3/400 a month, on top of my loan and grant from university
What is the student lifestyle like in Barcelona?
Very good, I have moved flats twice now to different areas (the first ones wifi wasnt great) but it was easy to find a new place once you know the areas, and I have met allot of new people, friends of friends. everyone is very friendly as your all experiencing the same,
Would you recommend the city and the University of Barcelona to other students?
yes of course! Its the best decision I've made!
What is the food like?
amazing
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Barcelona?
I paid agency fee's on one of my flats, but it wasn't too expensive.
How much does it cost to live in Barcelona?
it can be very cheap, my friends live here for 250 euros, I pay 450 , but I live on La Rambla, the centre street. it depends what you want, you can live here very cheap if you want to,
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
I tried courses but it was very difficult, I downloaded a Michele Thomas course! (recommended) my school didnt offer any classes but some universities do,
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Barcelona from your city?
metro easier, but some things are walkable
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Barcelona?
El born has some nice bars
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Barcelona?
I'm yet to find my favourite
