Why did you choose to go to Barcelona, Spain?

I came For a Presentation last fall and i fell in love with the city. It reminds me a lot of my home city Beirut. So i decided directly to check for Erasmus program

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I don't have a scholarship actually but still this city is very cheap.. seriously i lived in Turin Italy for 2 years and still Barcelona is full of amazing things and if you search you can find really cheap things from accommodations to food and drinks

What is the student lifestyle like in Barcelona?

Exciting and full of art and life

Would you recommend the city and the University of Barcelona to other students?

for sure i do.. i believe that Barcelona is the place to be. I am planing to stay here after graduating also.

What is the food like?

You can find whatever you like to eat. Amazing restaurants from around the world.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Barcelona?

I found the a room in shared apartment on idealista.com . I didn't have an account on this website yet. If i knew about it earlier it would have been much easier for me. But still i found a room in 4 days with an amazing price and next to my school.

How much does it cost to live in Barcelona?

with 500 euros you can rent a room, eat , and go to the gym :)

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available in the University?

Language is not my game actually.. i find difficulties learning new languages. but i have some friends that started talking a bit of Spanish after 3 months so i guess it is easy for an average person.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Barcelona from your city?

Its not cheap since i come from outside the European union. But you can get tickets for around 800 euros going and coming back.. which is normal

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Barcelona?

Olimpica for sure. there are some really cool bars, clubs and cafes.

Is there any other advice that you could give to future students who are going to Barcelona?

If anybody is not so sure about coming here i tell him.. When you come to Barcelona you will get stuck and never leave again.. that's what happened to me :)
