Why did you choose to go to Barcelona, Spain?
I have a friend that lived before in Barcelona.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
50€ weekly, i needed to pay foods and dinners, also party costs.
What is the student lifestyle like in Barcelona?
Great! A lot of culture, awsome culture and one of the best places i have ever been to party.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Barcelona to other students?
Yes, deffinitely!
What is the food like?
Second best in the world, right after Mexican food.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Barcelona?
Yes, but erasmus made it easier.
How much does it cost to live in Barcelona?
60€ weekly
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Barcelona from your city?
Airplane.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Barcelona?
Thursdays to the fraternity party in bikini club, fridays to nick havana or sutton and saturdays to opium, pacha or shoko.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Barcelona?
Cheap 100 montanditos.
Little bit expensive la cerveceria catalana, pacomeralgo and 7 puertas.
Expensive botafumeiro.
All are my favorite ones!
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Sagrada familia, casa batlo y la pedrera, la boqueria, plaza españa, el arco de el triunfo, montjuic y su castillo, montserrat, barrio gótico, catedral y el puerto olímpico.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Barcelona in the future?
Buy the t-jova for the metro it is great! Enjoy summer, every day. Get to know every corner of these wonderful city!
