Why did you choose to go to Barcelona, Spain?

Because the company from Barcelona that is from field I am interested.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

It's 5 months. I getting money from Erasmus+ traineeship program. It's 510€ every month. With that money I have money I earn before mobility.

What is the student lifestyle like in Barcelona?

I spen lot of time workin but during the weekends I go around city exploring places. I saw that city have very good offer if we looking nigh life or if you wan't to go somewhere to have a dinner with friends. I think that every pearson can find something for himself very easely.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Barcelona to other students?

Yes of course. I didn't know anything about culture or country and Im realy suprised (positive). This city is realy good for students and I think that every student should use oportunity to go in Barcelona.

What is the food like?

Food is great. Like I said, Barcelona have a lot of restaurants where you can eat relly quality food. Also they have fast food but I don't prefere it because that is food that you can eat almost anywhere. Prices are diferent and depends on location and place. It's easy to find good and cheap restaurant in Barcelona.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Barcelona?

It's a lot of websites that you can use for renting the flat. It's easy, fast and in most cases you can find comments about that place if someone use it before. I don't know spanish or catalan so I realy appreciate that pages.

How much does it cost to live in Barcelona?

It's 300€/month + clening (around 50€/month). That's for the flat and I spend around 300€ for food, but I don't go out every day.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I work in Barcelona so i don't know oportunities on the faculty. Like I said I don't know to speak Spanish or Catalan but every pearson try to help me (at least talking with hands :P)

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Barcelona from your city?

For me was using the plane mostly because traveling time and not enought services of other modes of transport.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

If you just walk over the streets it's a lot of places and building you can see and that is very good way (for me) to meet the city.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Barcelona in the future?

Come to Barcelona. I guarantee that you will be happy and you will want to go back to Barcelona after you come back home.
