Why did you choose to go to Barcelona, Spain?

Because it was the closest country to Portugal.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

The scholarship covered 4 months and the erasmus was 5 months. I received around 1400euros.

What is the student lifestyle like in Barcelona?

Very good. You have a great nightlife, an awsome cultural offert and the other erasmus students are very easy going so we kind of become very close to each other.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Barcelona to other students?

Yes, for sure.

What is the food like?

It's nice, I tryed some typical restaurants like 100 Montaditos and tapas... It was good.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Barcelona?

A little beat. You should use the internet websites to do it.

How much does it cost to live in Barcelona?

Around 600euros/month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

The language courses are available. I did the catalan survivol course. The language is not easy but we try.
