500€ for living + 350€ for room rental
What is the student lifestyle like in Barcelona?
I really like it because most of the universities are in the same area
Would you recommend the city and the University of Barcelona to other students?
Yes I would recommend Barcelona for everyone, because people and weather here are really lovely.
What is the food like?
Food is lik 80% the same as in other European countries
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Barcelona?
First I paid for some websites, but then I used free advertisment portals that guided me to place Im staying now.
How much does it cost to live in Barcelona?
arount 700-800€
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Yes the university provides language courses and language isn't that difficult.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Barcelona from your city?
Public transport is very well connected so you can swap between metros, trams and buses. Some people also like bicying service.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Barcelona?
La Rambla and Esti Chupitos bar
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Barcelona?
La Fonda and Kisko
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Tibidabo, Tor Agbar, Castle Montjuc, Sagrada Familia, etc.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Barcelona in the future?
WHen renting a place always ask about getting back your deposit. Don't use university accomendationd because theyr more expensive then finding a room, watch out for pickpockets in touristic places!
