Why did you choose to go to Barcelona, Spain?
I heard so many things..so Ι wanted to have similar experiences too
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
My country(Greece) gave me around 450 euro per month..But it is worth mentioning that without my savings I couldn't live with this amount of money. The rent is really high in Barcelona. Οn the other hand the ''life''(food,parties,shopping) is cheaper.
What is the student lifestyle like in Barcelona?
It is really cool and at the same time international.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Barcelona to other students?
Undoubtedly..It is a unique experience!
What is the food like?
Just perfect!! Mediterranean diet..exactly what i love.
You have to taste paella, tortilla, tapas, mariscos, patatas con alloli etc
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Barcelona?
There are al lot of rooms available,,It took me around one week(from what i remember)
How much does it cost to live in Barcelona?
350euros just a small room without balcon and outside the center
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available in the University?
As for me, it's really easy! I took intensive courses at the University Of Barcelona and within six months I learned to speak and to communicate at all levels.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Barcelona from your city?
Easy jet and Aegean,,(Not so economical way though)
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Barcelona?
Difficult to answer,,,A lot of choices!!Maybe a long walk in the neighborhood " Gothic"
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Barcelona?
-Tres Hermanos (Calle de Carme, Barrio-neighborhood
Raval), traditional spanish cuisine
-La Rosa de Raval : Angels, 6, (El Raval), mexican cuisine

What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Again a lot! You can go to information points that helps you discover Barcelona.
I loved Gaudi's architecture(buildings, park, Sagrada Familia, etc)
Is there any other advice that you could give to future students who are going to Barcelona?
Don' t miss the oppurtunity to visit and live in Barcelona! It's an amazing city, full of life. Every part, every corner of that city magnetize you.
It's the heart of Erasmus for sure..!
