Why did you choose to go to Barcelona, Spain?
I wanted to go to Antwerpen but I got chosen for Barcelona and I accepted because I really wanted to do Erasmus at least once in my life and especially because I wanted to improve my Spanish.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
3 months. At the moment still nothing, I still have to know if I receive something.
What is the student lifestyle like in Barcelona?
I am doing a traineeship Erasmus.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Barcelona to other students?
Yes.
What is the food like?
It's OK, but there is not much chance to try it, the University does not inform about it.
How much does it cost to live in Barcelona?
About 700-1000 Euros per month all included.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Yes, but I do not need them.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Barcelona from your city?
Flight.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Barcelona?
Pubs or discos.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Barcelona?
Taberna el Glop, ramen, sushi.
