Why did you choose to go to Barcelona, Spain?

because my native language is spanish, because beach is amazing

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I don´t received any scholarship

What is the student lifestyle like in Barcelona?

it´s a very good lifestyle because is a young city, there are too many libraries, the city offers you too many activities beyond the cultural, the sports, the party.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Barcelona to other students?

I strongly recommend to you to study in Barcelona, it's an amazing city for young people you never get bored.

What is the food like?

I am from Mexico so... all the food around the world for me is a little simple, But I love too much in Barcelona the seafood, the paella and the desserts, the wine and the champagne, also the beer with lemon, and the ham serrano.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Barcelona?

Not too much really, but I was there only for 2 months so the people want to pay for more months.

Also I was looking for a wide room, with a big window, near the school and not expensive and I founded

How much does it cost to live in Barcelona?

Approximately 1400 euros per month.

Also because I spent in museums, but without museums I think I can live with 1000 euros per month

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

The Catalan was a little difficult for me because it's similar with the french and the Italian so I understand few words in Italian.

And all my classes were in English so it was very easy for me to understand everything.

Also the Spanish is my native language so I didn´t have any problem with the language.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Barcelona from your city?

The subway, the bike and walking because is an amazing city so you have to enjoy and look all the buildings around.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Barcelona?

Opium a night club at the beach and sip chupitos

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Barcelona?

The market "La boqueria"

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Everything about Gaudi, Park Güell, La sagrada Familia, Casa Batlló, the stadium of Barcelona

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Barcelona in the future?

Just enjoy all the city, and I think the most amazing thinks are near the beach, including buildings, restaurants, churches, bars.
