Barcelona - The Good and the Bad

Although there are many good things about Barcelona, there are also (for me at least) many bad things. Many of which that I didn't like at all.
The Positives
- It has some beautiful buildings, nice restaurants and all round stunning architecture.
- It's close to the sea and of course the weather is lovely.
But for us on the other hand, it seems like we had some really bad luck...
The Negatives
- Things are very expensive for what they actually are: we spent loads on transport and hotels, none of which were of any luxury standard.
- They are some nice people, but others not so much: I could be wrong but it seemed that even though they could clearly see we were lost, some people preferred to make fun of us and give us joke answers, rather than actually help.
- There is a lot of petty crime: on our second to last day we were mugged and one of our purses was stolen. Thank god there was only 40 euros and an already cancelled card inside!
Like all things however, we are willing to give it another chance and see if we have any better luck the second time round.

Seems that way indeed. I'm sure, as they said though, they just had some bad luck
Anyway they didn't discourage me from coming to Barcelona :)
I wouldn't have thought so. So many people say such good things about it!
