Barcelona... my city!

Barcelona is my native city, and so therefore I can say... that I believe it is an awesome place to live, especially if you go for Erasmus or to study. It has everything:

  • Culture: theaters, concerts, museums and many buildings to visit.
  • Parties: There are many and there is a variety of different venues in which to go party: clubs, bars, pubs, concert halls, etc.
  • Great weather and the beach.
  • People: Cosmopolitan city with people from all around the world.

Moreover, Barcelona is served by several airports with a variety of different low-cost airlines which allow you to travel cheaply throughout Spain and all of Europe!

Barcelona also boasts many good universities that offer programs in English, Spanish and/or Catalan (UB, UPC, UAB, URL, etc. ).

The only inconvenience is that the arrival of low-cost tourism has made it so many parts of the city are always packed with mass crowds, and that restaurants and locales are now geared toward tourism (low quality, high costs)... it's a shame!
