Why did you choose to go to Badajoz, Spain?
I chose Spain, because of Spanish culture, language, Andalucia, gypsies... It was a great experience... Badajoz is a small city, it's hard to say Badajoz is a city, I didn't know about it before, Andalucia would be great!
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
438 for a month. It's not enough but if you stay in Badajoz may be okay but if you want to travel as you know...
What is the student lifestyle like in Badajoz?
Botellon, fiesta...
Would you recommend the city and the University of Badajoz to other students?
I recommend Andalucia or other cities.
What is the food like?
Traditional food.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Badajoz?
Yes.
How much does it cost to live in Badajoz?
About 400-500 euros for a month.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Yes.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Badajoz from your city?
From Istanbul to Madrid or Lisboa then take a bus to Badajoz, it is the best way.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Badajoz?
Plaza España or some bars where you can find flamenco music for ex. Bulerías.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Badajoz?
Portuguese restaurant.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Badajoz in the future?
Travel as much as you can and meet with La Caita who was the singer of Tony Gaflit movies. She lives in Badajoz.
