As part of ESN-Uex
Hi all! Let me introduce myself, my name is Alberto, I'm studying a double degree in Economics and Business Management at the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Extremadura. Since I spent a year like Erasmus during the course of 2011/2012 in Turku (Finland) I contacted all matters related with the world and all those things include the role of the ESN. The ESN or Erasmus Student Network is, basically, an international organization dedicated to helping Erasmus students in their destination city. Divided by country and, in turn, in sections, which correspond to Universities.
In my case, when I was in Turku, there were four Universities, three of which had a section of the ESN. There I could enjoy travel, activities and parties organized by each different sections, membership of a university not limited you to only take part of the events that ESN from your university organizes. So we had the ESN of the University of Turku (Turun Ylioposto), the ESN of the Abo Akademi (Swedish University) and the ESN-IAC (International Action Club) of the Turku University of Applied Sciences or TUAS.
To me this excited me too much, to the point where I got pretty involved in such sections and worked with them in organizing parties, events, etc. Well, once back, I did not hesitate for a second to keep doing the same thing only this time in my hometown, Badajoz. Before I arrived, I contacted the ESN-Uex to tell them that I would like to be part of the section and participate with them in all that they will organize, and so I will.
Just started September is when the "work" begins to members of ESN-Uex. Here not only organize events, activities, parties and trips, besides we take care of seeking them accommodation, assign a student tutor to pick them up when they arrive the city and even help them engage with the internet and the mobile theme.
With this description, few people outside the world organizaición or Erasmus may say that they do not see attractive enough or do not find it to your liking. But so much for me as for anyone who I know and is getting involved from now, it is pleasantly satisfying and we invite anyone who wants to be encouraged to participate. Especially when the best is yet to come and one week ahead vibrant, full of fun and humor immersed in an international environment plagued by the better environment and coolness.
These are at least my feelings are yours? Would you like to join us? Do you sign up into the club?
