The Australian Bar at Amiens is a recently renovated bar with a lot of charm and Australian atmosphere. It’s decorated with Australian signs, like “Danger – Alligators” or “Watch out – Wombat” and a lot of other cool stuff, such as surfing photos, Volkswagen T1 signs, retro speakers and other retro machines.
It’s a normal bar where you can have a drink with friends – there are several possibilities to sit down or sit at the bar. But you can also play table soccer, flipper or darts – whatever you want, in a small separated room you will find it. The third reason to go there might be that you love soccer or other sports – important matches are always shown at the large TV in the middle of the bar. Champion’s league, football, handball, tennis – wherever there is an important match, you can usually find it in the Australian Bar. But most of the time it’s soccer.

The prices are similar to all the other French bars. More expensive than in other countries probably, but not too much. You can definitely afford some drinks without spending all your money.
Even if the Australian Bar is quite focused on soccer matches, I really like the decoration and the atmosphere there. So if you don’t have the money to fly to Australia – try there first!
