Almada is a nice city to live in. It has everything! It´s a busy city with shops, restaurants, belveders, a river(Tejo) and the sea at a few kilometers. Many beaches with lots of km.

Not expensive!
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Almada? Is there any advice you can give?
No, its not difficult. You can see in the Erasmus accommodation site and see that there are a lot of offer.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Fish and seafood.
Try for example, Ameijoas à Bulhão Pato.
What places would you recommend visiting in Almada?
Casa da Cerca; Museu da Cidade; Cacilhas; the ancient Almada; the Parque da Paz (garden); ciclovia for bikes; A Fair Trade shop ( a cooperative) with a group of consumption every 15 days.
Is it good to eat out in Almada? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
Yes its good, there are a lot of offers and different ones. There are many restaurants witch make nice "home made food".
Is the nightlife good in Almada? Where is good to go?
Almada Velha ( street Capitão Leitão)and Cacilhas;
What advice would you give future students headed to Almada?
Good places to study...with transports nearby.
