People in academician are so 'cool'...

People in Romania are really cool. I have already met few of them, I've observed a lot of different situations on the streets, but the thing that happened today I clearly can't understand...

In Poland it is very rare for people to stop and let you cross you when you come to the zebra crossing (without traffic lights). I like it in Romania, as this is new to me... We all know, how it works in Poland.

However, the academician... Well, I have no idea how it is possible to call a police (and four officers came) just because of a small, not very loud party. It was basically quiet. I was playing the guitar, we were singing and it was all right, but suddenly, few minutes past 1 am, the police knocked on our door. The girls from the room below us called the police because we were too loud. They have warned us just five minutes earlier before the officers came.

Well, I can believe in many things, but, all in all, what time they had called the police if they were at our door after five minutes?

I don't know, maybe this is only my opinion, but this is very unlikely for the Romanian police to intervene so promptly.

There is only one question. When the students are allowed to party peacefully in academician? During similar party on Saturday we had another warning from other person living here. I understand they are having their classes, but in academician in Częstochowa, if someone would call the police just because of the party, they will have to come at least several times every evening...

All in all, the country is great, people are cool, but, as we can say, the exception just proves the rule.
